As you may have recalled, I mentioned a big job on Saturday that I’m working on right now – and unfortunately it’s just consuming too much of my time this week! I’m aiming to have it done by Friday or Saturday, so next week posting will resume as normal; but in the meantime, I’ll leave you with some fun photos. These were taken before I left Missouri, with one of my friends who happens to be a talented photographer.

This is the outfit I was wearing when I was informed I looked like Mary Poppins (by a drunk homeless man no less! I took it as a compliment, haha). So we decided to play it up a little bit…

And those are the heels I almost broke my ankle in!

Looking at the photos, my makeup didn’t turn out QUITE the way I wanted it too. And obvs, my collar was being obnoxious. But I like how bright my eyes are in this photo!

    Adorable! I love how vibrant your hair color is. I’ve seen a lot of girls who have multicolored hair, but it’s faded & washed out. Yours always looks amazing.

    Thank you Ev’Yan! I try really hard to keep my hair as vibrant as possible, so that means a lot to me :) The sewing machine has thread coming from it that says “without passion, we’d be truly dead” (which is *cough* a Buffy quote) and the skull with button eyes/needles and thread has a banner under it that says “DIY or DIE” (diy being do it yourself).

    Love both outfits! Especially the frilly skirt… gorgeous! And that hat! I think you’re the only one who can pull this off without making it look like a costume.

    Thank you dear!! The frilly skirt is actually two parts, the pink rose skirt and the black petticoat (I made both of them). I do indeed try to walk the costume-y line so that’s quite the compliment for me :)
