Yup, I’m late. I almost switched the outfit posts around, but I had already scheduled yesterday’s.
There’s my costume. As mentioned, I was the Other Mother from Coraline. I made the skirt, the shrug that I was wearing under the t-shirt (for a bit more arm coverage, as it was a little chilly), and the collar thing. The pictures we got that night of the back were extremely unflattering & blurry to boot. I felt pretty weird about trying to take photos of my butt by myself, so I got a non-action shot for you.
It’s pretty obvious from looking at this picture, but that slit went up much higher than I intended it to. Matt almost let me leave the house with my panties hanging out. I threw on a slip a the last minute and somehow my t-shirt ended up tucked into it, which is the shiny band of black in the top photo.
Our Halloween was pretty uneventful, I wanted to go downtown but Matt wasn’t really feeling it, so we just spent some time at our neighbor’s house. There’s always next year, right?
Also! I will be at the Austin Bleet Up tomorrow. On the off chance any of you are going, please come say hi. I’ll be the one with purple hair, who will probably be visibly intimidated by all the cool people in such close proximity. I’m definitely looking forward to meeting Indiana, although I’m secretly (not anymore, I guess) worried that she’ll tower over me and make me look short and dumpy. These are the things you think about at 5’2″.
