Wicked Whimsy

When I was a little kid, I was absolutely fascinated with rocks and minerals. I still have a sizable collection stored in fabric bags (that, and tons of quartz rather scattered across the house). I found this on Flickr & thought it was gorgeous – apparently, it’s calcite under UV. It has a heart on it! I find that ridiculously awesome.

Found this while looking for crystal photos. Not only is it effin’ gorgeous, but I think it’s neat how much the mountains actually look like crystals. Just some random beauty for your day!
